No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from. A declining trend compresses what a buyer would pay.

Probably one of the worst WP plug-ins in existence. For such a large company the should be ashamed. Does not calculate tax properly at all. Support is non-existent. I’d find a different soltution…

The lack of updates to this plugin is crazy. It’s literally printing novels of PHP Deprecated warnings in my debug log. Considering switching because of it.

We had a trial period which ended and instead of bypassing the taxjar, woocommerce would throw fatal error and users would not be able to finish payment. Very poor code plugin, not recommended

We are using the FunnelKit plugin for upsell functionality. Noticed that on all upsells, even though woo is calculating taxes, the credit cards/paypal are not being charged – we are thus reporting taxes we have not collected. We have a professional account with TaxJar and have been working on this for weeks with them as they don’t seem to understand the issue. This is really frustrating. If you are currently using TaxJar, double-check the credit card/paypal statements to make sure that taxes are actually being charged. This topic was modified 2 years, 8 months ago by hantunca.

You will be required for a TaxJar pro plan now to use this plugin which costs $99 per month.

Just a waste of time! I’ve been dealing with this plugin for a while now, and I wanted to let you all about my experience. I’ve spent days trying to understand the pricing. It’s not clear what you get with each package, especially when it comes to WooCommerce integration. According to the comment posted by a Taxjar employee on the previous 1-star review, Taxjar should cost you $19/month if you sign up via Woocommerce interface. That is a HUGE LIE! I’ve tested 3 different techniques to get that offer. First, I went to the website without knowing that I had to signup via Woocommerce, and ending up with a warning that I need to upgrade to professional ($99/month) to connect Woocommerce. Second, I called the sales team and they gave me a Woocommerce partner link. I signed up with a new email, and it didn’t work either. Lastly, I thought it might be due to the caching, so I opened a new browser, went to Taxjar settings, clicked on the signup link, and signed up using another new email address. Then, I was greeted with the same warning. No matter how you try it, they try to get you to pay $99/month. It’s obvious that they want you to give up trying and pay $99/month. They want to punish you for using Woocommerce rather than Shopify where it would cost you $19/month if you did so. I’ve emailed the support team about this problem. It’s been hours and I still haven’t received any response. I suggest you find another provider who is cooperating and honest even if it costs slightly more.

Heads up – this plugin requires a minimum $99 a month account to use. Their marketing insinuates that there are “One click eCommerce integrations” – but this is not the case with WooCommerce. Don’t waste your time with this one unless you can handle paying $99 a month for your first 200 transactions. Their sales flow will lead you to create an account and pay $17 a month, and then you’ll realize you need a ‘Plus’ account to use real time rates. OK, how much does that cost, and how can I upgrade? Oh no, you need to schedule a sales call to just get the info.
