Biggest opportunity: Swap “rate”, “rating” and “reaction” for “smileys”, “smiley” and “emoticons”. “rate” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “smileys” sits at #17 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. “rating” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “smiley” sits at #18 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. “reaction” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “emoticons” sits at #19 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. All five slots are taken, so one has to go.

How it's measured →3.1%
of downloads still active
At least 400 of 12.9K lifetime downloads are still running, above its category: the median Uncategorized plugin keeps 0.6%, across 17,766 plugins.
Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other Uncategorized plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.

How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

outstanding support, thank you!

It was necessary to integrate post ratings into the site. Only this plugin (in the free version) provided the most flexible functionality. During the tests, bugs were found and sent to the developer. Some bugs have been fixed, some are still in progress. Bugfixes are very fast.

The team at TotalRating is the most responsive tech support that I have come across. They were able to customize their plugin to meet the needs of my site. Hands down the best tech support I have encountered.
