Biggest opportunity: Swap “accessibility”, “video embed” and “llm” for “transcript”, “transcripts” and “embedding”. “accessibility” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “transcript” sits at #6 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. “video embed” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “transcripts” sits at #8 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. “llm” isn't earning its slot: it only gets you to #23. “embedding” sits at #18 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. All five slots are taken, so one has to go.

How it's measured →0.9%
of downloads still active
At least 100 of 11.3K lifetime downloads are still running, in line with its category: the median Media plugin keeps 0.8%, across 2,319 plugins.
Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other Media plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.

What to do about it
- Swap “accessibility”, “video embed” and “llm” for “transcript”, “transcripts” and “embedding”.
- Slipping on “llm”. Down 6 places since 2026-09-20, now #23. Check what shipped around then, and what moved above you.

How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.
What its installed base runs

Many people think primarily about top SEO, okay. But if you use tools like this, you kill two birds with one stone. Good SEO values and better accessibility for people who can’t hear the video. Actually one more reason to use this.

So Sick of every time to get the message to give 5 stars. If I close that window then don’t open it again at the same screen after saving or refresh. Didn’t have the time to really test the plug, just because of your begging for 5 stars you get 1 star!!!! Waiting for fast update to not see this message over and over! No update, this review will stay.
