High removal-risk signals

63/100

Maintenance and integrity signals that tend to precede a WordPress.org removal. Not an official status, a heads-up to act.

  • Long abandoned. No update in 13+ years — the top precursor to removal once a vulnerability is found.
  • Compatibility drift. Tested only up to WordPress 3.5.2, well behind 6.8.

Update activity

How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

Estimated value

What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

Est. annual revenue

N/A

Est. acquisition value

N/A

No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from.

This plugin seemed simple and great to add that little extra security buffer to my site up until it mysteriously didn’t recognize my IP address today. I went to login to my WordPress site and it suddenly got stuck in a login loop without telling me the problem. When I discovered and accessed the email link to allow recognition of my IP address, it went to the site login again and got stuck in the same loop. I am so thankful for Bluehost support because if it weren’t for their help this could have been a lockout that would have taken many hours or even days to figure out. Also, when going to uninstall the plugin after deactivating it, there did not seem to be any option to change back the login web address and it is now stuck at the previously designated address. I gave it two stars because it did work for about 2 months.
