   When loading the plugin directory URL use plugins_url() instead of WP_PLUGIN_URL Eg: define(‘advps_url’,plugins_url().”/advanced-post-slider/”); Source: stt.php, lines# 54, 62 and 167. Because WP_PLUGIN_URL doesn’t work on SSL properly and caused delay for the launch of our website. Similar advise seen here.

   Be aware that with the free version, there are not option settings as described. The arrow icon is missing for my web site. The settings screen is just one big advertising trying to sell you the pay version. Deleted.

   The free plugin is a very simple solution for a very simple problem. I have some really long content like this 9,000-word guide on how to start a blog and I wanted to have a little button that would allow people to get to the top without breaking their scrolling finger! You can see it in action there. This plugin allows you to choose colors and a few different styles which means your blog design won’t be ruined. Not much more to say. Works well, does its job.

   Apart from icon-4 being mislabelled and therefore not available, the free version works nicely – simply. You can fix it by going into the plugin folder > src_icons and changing Icon-4 to icon-4. The Premium version 2.0 has spelling mistakes, the color picker doesn’t show and the page can’t scroll down again after pressing the scroll to top function. $5 wasted.
