WP Ultimate Review is the perfect plugin to collect & display customers' feedback effortlessly on products, services, & content in WordPress.
Try it live opens a temporary test site in your browser, which can take about 20 seconds to load. Plugins that rely on outside services or a full server may not work completely there.
Install count doesn't reflect chosen adoption
60K+ installs but only 17 reviews: about 2.8 per 10,000 installs, where plugins people pick from the directory typically sit above 10. The install count also held flat for months and then climbed several tiers within weeks, the shape of a distribution change rather than organic adoption. Install bases built through bundling or preinstallation look like this. That is a legitimate way to ship software, but it means the install count says little about how many users chose this plugin.
Not a judgment of the plugin itself. We keep it off install-based leaderboards because the count isn't a popularity signal here.

Biggest opportunity: Swap “rating plugin” for “review”. “rating plugin” isn't earning its slot: it only gets you to #15. “review” sits at #5 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. All five slots are taken, so one has to go.

of downloads still active
At least 60K of 718.6K lifetime downloads are still running, above its category: the median Login & Users plugin keeps 0.7%, across 1,476 plugins.
Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other Login & Users plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.
This plugin shipped 10 releases in the last 12 months, and every existing install that updated counted as another download. wp.org publishes no split between first installs and updates, so we show the raw rate rather than guess at one.

What to do about it
- Swap “rating plugin” for “review”. “rating plugin” isn't earning its slot: it only gets you to #15. “review” sits at #5 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. All five slots are taken, so one has to go.
- Slipping on “rating plugin”. Down 5 places since 2026-09-19, now #15. Check what shipped around then, and what moved above you.

It’s a good plugin, but even though I bought the Pro version, recaptcha unfortunately doesn’t work. I asked support to help me set it up, but instead of helping, they just kept repeating that it works for them. Well, thanks…

I really like how this plugin works and solves some review issues we had. However the plugin had no captcha options. So we get daily spam reviews from bots. I have been asking multiple times in 1.5 years for a captcha integration but the devs do not seem to care. I also noticed you can edit a review, just not the score. I asked if this could be changed. I was told this would be implemented in next update. Which ws said to me almost a year ago now.Such a shame, i could have used this on many sites and would gladly pay for a pro version. For now it seems we have to let go and find another solution. The devs are now on our blacklist. We will not buy anything from these devs cause they are careless.

When you enter the administrative panel, you can not click on any section and the parasha music anthem of Ukraine starts playing. I thought that they put some malicious code in there. Removed it completely and installed a new one, nothing changed. There is nothing in the database of the data plugin, I thought there was something there. I had to send this plugin to the trash
