What to fix first
- 1
Ship an update
Last release was 419 days ago. wp.org lowers a listing's search weight once it goes about 180 days without a release.
- 2
Swap “multiple” and “payment gateway” for “transfer” and “bank”
“multiple” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “transfer” sits at #12 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. “payment gateway” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “bank” sits at #14 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. All five slots are taken, so one has to go.
- 3
#15 puts you just past the first ten results, where almost all the clicks stop. The gap to close is small.

Update cadence is slipping
Needs workLast updated 14 months ago. Freshness is one of the strongest directory-ranking signals.
What to do: Get back on a visible release cadence, even minor releases.
Readme fails 5 of 8 AI readiness checks
Needs workAI assistants recommend what they can quote. Failing: has a faq, faq asks real questions, names who it is for, headings and lists and enough to quote. Only 1 question in the FAQ; 3 or more gives an assistant something to match.
What to do: Rewrite the readme so each failed check passes: say the job in the first line, answer real questions in the FAQ, name who it is for and what it works with, and use headings and lists. For the same check on your plugin's own website, run the free AI visibility scan from AgentVania.

OpportunityOnly 14 ratings. A handful of reviews makes your star average fragile and weakens trust at install time.
What to do: Run a structured in-plugin review prompt and a review campaign.
Small download base. 518 downloads in 30 days, so a +32% move is a few installs rather than a trend.
Light support activity. Few recent support threads, so there is no backlog to report.
No open vulnerabilities recorded. No unpatched security advisory is recorded against this plugin.
