   I thought this would be the second take on their CMS Tree Menu plugin which has not been update for a couple years. First, the nested menu cramped into the admin panel is useless. You need a dedicated screen to manage 100 pages of content many with long title. The CMS Tree Menu is a good solution so I wonder why it’s abandoned, and this plugin was created to replace it with better features? The sample screenshots showing the page tree manager screen can’t be found anywhere in the admin. This topic was modified 1 month ago by Skylabb.

   The screenshots for this plugin show that you can access the tree of pages by going to a special page in the admin menu. But that is not what happens. Instead, this plugin adds a full list of all pages to the admin menu itself, under Pages. It’s too long, it’s a mess, and I can’t use it. I thought this would be a good replacement for the still-working-but-apparently-abandoned CMS Tree Page View, but it is not. I’ll be going back to that plugin instead.

   This plugin <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>WAS</span> excellent. Instead of going to the page list, the menu flew out and you could select a page to edit, saving a step (and time). Now it defeats the original purpose as you have to go to a new page that shows the page list and click on it. Couldn’t you give us an option to keep it the old way or have both? I will be searching for something else now.
