Biggest opportunity: Swap “document management” and “file sharing” for “acknowledgment” and “powerpoint”. “document management” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “acknowledgment” sits at #8 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. “file sharing” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “powerpoint” sits at #19 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. All five slots are taken, so one has to go.

How it's measured →1.0%
of downloads still active
At least 80 of 8.1K lifetime downloads are still running, above its category: the median Uncategorized plugin keeps 0.6%, across 17,767 plugins.
Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other Uncategorized plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.
This plugin shipped 20 releases in the last 12 months, and every existing install that updated counted as another download. wp.org publishes no split between first installs and updates, so we show the raw rate rather than guess at one.

Estimated active installs
The public count shows “80+”. Our estimate pins where the real number sits.
Crossed into this band yesterday and a band this size takes about a year or more to cross, so the real count is still just under 90.

I rarely leave reviews, but FileVue absolutely deserves one. After testing many client portal solutions for WordPress, FileVue is by far the closest to what we were looking for. It provides a clean and professional way to manage client documents, invoices, contracts, and private files without the complexity of larger CRM systems. What impressed me the most was not only the plugin itself, but the developer behind it. During our implementation, I encountered several issues and feature requests. Lucian responded quickly, investigated every case, released fixes, improved existing functionality, and even implemented new features based on real-world feedback. It is incredibly rare to find this level of support and dedication. The Pro version adds powerful customization options that allow us to create a branded client experience, which is exactly what we needed for our business. You can clearly see that this plugin is actively developed and that the developer genuinely cares about his users and product. If you need a client portal for WordPress, document sharing, invoices, contracts, or secure client access, I highly recommend FileVue. Thank you, Lucian, for all your hard work and support. We are looking forward to using FileVue with our clients and seeing how the plugin continues to evolve.

Solid plugin with a useful core feature set that works reliably and does what it promises. Setup is straightforward and the overall experience feels stable. For the future, it would be great to see it become more feature-rich and continue evolving based on user suggestions. With active development and attention to feedback, this plugin has strong potential to grow into an even more powerful tool.

I recently discoved this plugin and it does exactly what it says. In the past to achieve this, you would have to make use of multiple plugins, from the login page to creating pasword pretected pages and finally the actual file viewer for uploaded documents. This plugin combines all this into one easy step. Create a client id, upload relevant documents and your set. You can even email the login credetials to the client for save keeping. Oh and don’t forget that the client receives an email every time new documents are uploaded. No more time wasted to inform clients that new documents have been uploaded.
