How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

Estimated value

What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

Est. annual revenue

N/A

Est. acquisition value

N/A

No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from.

No need to prime page cache anymore, this plugin does that “automatically”, just a few moments before visitor clicks the link, a fresh cached page is ready!

Works great for while accessing website on desktop. Not so much on mobile devices. Still, I did feel an improvement in performance. Although the plugin hasn’t been updated recently, I would still recommend this to anyone looking for a quick hack.

I really like this plugin, it really makes the site a lot faster on desktops, but not on mobiles. I’ve also had a few issues with Google AdSense where the responsive ads were taking the whole screen instead of having a a specific size in some pages, and that’s because of Instant.Pages because if I disabled it, ads are running smooth with a specific size. It may be my theme’s fault also.

Blazing fast on desktop but doesn’t perform that well where it’s most needed – mobile. Also, I wish there was an easier way to preload specific pages. This topic was modified 6 years, 5 months ago by uflinks.

I always install this on any WordPress site I setup. The latest version works better than ever. I hope a future version adds the defer attribute so it loads last though to further improve initial page load. e.g. <script type="module" src="/wp-content/plugins/instant-page/instantpage.js" defer></script>
