Biggest opportunity: “extension” and “mailpoet” aren't earning a slot. You list them, but you're not in the first 24 results for those searches. WordPress.org counts only your first five tags, so free the slot for a search you can win.

How it's measured →

0.8%

of downloads still active

At least 100 of 12.8K lifetime downloads are still running, below its category: the median Forms plugin keeps 1.2%, across 1,671 plugins.

Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other Forms plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.

High removal-risk signals

Maintenance and integrity signals that tend to precede a WordPress.org removal. Not an official status, a heads-up to act.

  • Long abandoned. No update in 12+ years — the top precursor to removal once a vulnerability is found.
  • Compatibility drift. Tested only up to WordPress 3.9.40, well behind 7.1.

This is a great plugin. Do not get this mixed up with another plugin called “Gravity Forms Mail Poet Add-on”. That other plugin only adds users to a predefined list and does not allow users to pick and choose their list. But this plugin does and it works great with Gravity Forms. With this plugin, you can let your users pick and choose what they want to subscribe to and it’s all tied in with your MailPoet settings. Thanks for a creating this wonderful plugin!

Unfortunately this plugin is not working as intended. The another one, by Ben Hays, works well.

Don’t be confused…there are two plugins…this one: MailPoet Gravity Forms Add-on…and Gravity Forms Mail Poet Addon. USE THIS ONE!! The other plugin only assigns fields and it is not really a subscription tool as it automatically subscribes new users to mailing lists without gaining user permission.. This one…the MailPoet Gravity Forms Add-on adds a new field to your gravity forms drag and drop selector in the standard fields area. Works like a charm…easy to set up. Thanks MailPoet!
