High removal-risk signals

63/100

Maintenance and integrity signals that tend to precede a WordPress.org removal. Not an official status, a heads-up to act.

  • Long abandoned. No update in 11+ years — the top precursor to removal once a vulnerability is found.
  • Compatibility drift. Tested only up to WordPress 4.0.38, well behind 6.8.

Update activity

How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

Estimated value

What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

Est. annual revenue

N/A

Est. acquisition value

N/A

No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from.

My embedded menu items are being output at the root menu level, so my main menu has like 30 items in it. 🙁 Hopefully a fix is possible; this is a great plugin!

Excellent plugin that extends the ability to create submenus. This functionality should really be incorporated into the next WordPress update.

(doesn’t add the menu, just acts as an include for the contents of the menu)

OMG. Thanks! I have over 50 pages in my site. My site is personal, not commercial – so, I am the low-skilled developer. Without your plugin it was a nightmare just to add one page. Dragging up through 30+ bouncing menu items, screen by screen. I put in a WP request to have your plugin incorporated as a WP Menu standard feature. It should be part of WP. Excellent plugin, thank you very much.

Great plugin. As a newcomer to wordpress I expected this functionality to be included as standard. Navception makes it possible to resuse menus and preserve consistency across a UI.

This is just what I needed. It works as you’d expect it to, and the nicest thing is that it slots seamlessly into the rest of the menu UI too. Thanks!
