   Huge struggle with knock on bugs within the Moka Theme from Elma studio. Infinite scroll was didn’t fire. Javascript errors killed Flexslider and the tiled mosaic galleries didn’t conform to container size on initiation. Nice idea, a light version of Jetpack, it certainly drew me in; but cannot recommend this to anyone due to the numerous issues and wasted time faced. Fresh install of the Full Fat Jetpack fixed all issues.

   Appears to work, and no nagging. But instructions suggested(?) that deleting or uploading separate modules would work, which seems important because the listing of modules included here do not match those included in the current version of nag-fest-extraordinaire plugin, Jetpack. However, the Slim interface doesn’t seem to update, with modules added (via ftp) or deleted. Thus, modules like Publicize! are not included here, and do not seem to be accessible via Slim Jetpack. Specifically, the ones not included here are: Comments, gplus-authorship, likes, markdown, post-by-email, publicize, and subscriptions. NOTE: Perhaps those modules all require a wordpress.com connection to operate, so perhaps this is actually up-to-date. There are a couple modules that are included in Slim that do not appear in the current jetpack (2.8). If I am incorrect in any of this, please let me know and I will update/re-rate my review.

   Practical, useful and compact tool without many unnecessary function from the wordpress.com jetpack for self-hosted sites. User right administration would do well because it was displayed on my website to subscribers if you would not have used any role managers.

   Out of all the plugs in I’ve tried, this one fell just one important step short of being perfect. It’s easy to install and has a super easy set up interface. In fact, everything about it was looking perfect… EXCEPT…. there is no Facebook like button if you aren’t hosted by wordpress.com. That’s a shame since FB is such an ingrained part of the social networking system… oh well. Unless someone gives me a workaround solution (and I tried adding a special icon, but it won’t give me the FB logo, just that y shaped share logo), I’m back to shopping.
