High removal-risk signals

63/100

Maintenance and integrity signals that tend to precede a WordPress.org removal. Not an official status, a heads-up to act.

  • Long abandoned. No update in 11+ years — the top precursor to removal once a vulnerability is found.
  • Compatibility drift. Tested only up to WordPress 4.0.38, well behind 6.8.

Update activity

How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

Estimated value

What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

Est. annual revenue

Est. acquisition value

No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from. A declining trend compresses what a buyer would pay.

Reviewer account pattern

from wp.org reviewer profiles

14 of the last 23 four- and five-star reviews came from accounts created within a month of posting the review.

Registering a wp.org account just to leave a review is common and often entirely legitimate. The share here is unusually high for the sample, so it's worth keeping in mind while reading the reviews.

I guess it didn’t work out. Plugin doesn’t work, official website is down. Don’t waste your time.

This plugin is a big Waste of time, and quite dangerouse…once installed you cant uninstall it wihtout having to delete the folder. It basicly hijacks Your Dashboard. Stay far away from this broken piece of shit Tired of low quality plugins that every man on the street is pushing out these days.

This is a great idea but bad execution. I keep seeing the same pages over and over again, and I only share those websites that I personally like. btw what is the difference between this free plugin and the one you sell at your web address?

Soooo, I signed up and got my free points by giving a five star review. A very spammy method of juicing ratings, but I went along with it for one day. Today my rating drops to zero. Yesterday I had considered sharing some other sites for more points, but there seemed to be approximately ten choices, many of which I would NOT want associated with my business (those selling trinkets, with articles about virility, etc). I had 145 points yesterday. So I figured I would let my free points run out and see what happened. Today I have zero points left, and exactly ONE share of my website occurred. They ran out. And nothing else happened. 145 points and one share? And who knows where it was shared? No thank you.

The plugin works good and without bugs. It’s really easy to set-up and get going with a constant stream of slow drip shares and the likes 🙂 (pun intended). Just like in the video, it works on the KISS principle: allocate some points and press play on the posts or pages you want to promote. And in the main plugin dashboard, you can promote your homepage too. I use it to add a few (10 – 20) random likes, tweets, g+1 and LinkedIn shares on my newly published posts. It gives a nice feeling and the blog looks nice, it simulates I organically have traffic and shares on social networks. For this (simulation) is an essential tool. Now if your content is good and you manage to build a strong following it might get you viral, but you will have to do it by yourself. Don’t expect running this plugin and your virality or traffic go wild. I hope I will grow and after a few months use the plugin less, just for promoting important posts. For this I can see a problem with their business model. If people will grow they will stop using the plugin. But if you’re just starting out, the plugin helps. And if you want to go to an investor or have someone important look on your website, better to see some activity on those social buttons. My opinion, anyway. Some ideas for future improvements: – for sharing maybe split the blogs in 2: quality and non-quality. Some posts I will not share because non-quality blogs. – add a set of social buttons. A lot of people don’t even have that on their websites – show some reports on how many likes you send my way (on each post and in total) – expand to more social networks like Reddit, SU, Digg etc..
