   I feel a little bad to only give this plugin 2 stars as the dev obviously put a lot of effort into designing this and the admin works smoothly. But… the basic version is quite limited the basic version has a LOT of clickable options that, when clicked, simply do not work and instead prompt you to pay for the upgrade. I did not see any marking identifying these features as paid-only, instead, you have to click them and be frustrated each time. $10 per month for the paid version IMHO is expensive for what you get the plugin actually seems to me to do very little to control the styling of your Google calendar. this is not entirely the dev’s fault since Google does not provide access to things like coloring individual events. but the marketing for this calendar gave me the impression that a LOT more can be controlled and I just didn’t find even close to what I wanted for styling. this plugin appears to require the dev’s server in order to function which means should they decide to turn it off this plugin would cease to function. I am always very reluctant to use something that cannot continue to work if the dev stops working on it or supporting it. finally, Google improved the look and feel of their embedded calendar last year and it is quite an improvement to what they offered before. so, if you compare the newer Google embedded calendar with what this plugin can do, to me, it just does not deliver much additional value.    I was embedding a Google calendar onto a website w/a dark background, and the native Google embed looked completely amateurish. I was excited to see all the settings that Styled Calendar allowed me to change, even in the free version — and settings can be different for desktop/mobile embed. Every setting has a tooltip to let you know exactly what it affects – very helpful. Customer service is stellar. There was one setting I couldn’t figure out, and I received a response very quickly, and even a follow-up a week or so later to make sure I was still all set. I highly recommend this app!

   We run a jeu-de-boules-club and use sice six months Styled Calender to display for our members the play-events etc. Embed the Google-calender directly gives a clunky result. De styled Calender – we use the free version – gives a nice view, also on tablets and mobile phones. And embedding is a piece of cake. Moreover, the pricing for the premium version is very reasonable.

   Started using this plugin last week and so far really like it! We’d been using a system that had grown way more sophisticated and expensive for our needs, we’d looked at a number of alternatives but once we came across Style Calendar it was an easy choice to make. Well designed UI, easy customizations and good support.

   I run a board game café hosting 8-10 events each week, and needed a way to display an events calendar on our website. The best option for us has been to automatically pull data from our ticketing platform, add it to a Google Calendar, then embed this on the website. Embedded Google Calendars are ugly, and Styled Calendar has let us make a very functional calendar which looks good and fits our brand. On top of this, I had a very specific technical question which I sent via their chat bot and received a reply within 24 hours offering two possible solutions which perfectly addressed my issue. Great service! The free version is limited, but still much better than a standard Google Calendar embed, and the pricing for the premium version is very reasonable for a business use case.
