Biggest opportunity: Swap “scroll” for “news scroll”. “scroll” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “news scroll” sits at #4 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. All five slots are taken, so one has to go.

Install conversion
How it's measured →5.1%
of downloads still active
At least 7K of 138.2K lifetime downloads are still running, above its category: the median Uncategorized plugin keeps 0.6%, across 17,773 plugins.
Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other Uncategorized plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.
This plugin shipped 3 releases in the last 12 months, and every existing install that updated counted as another download. wp.org publishes no split between first installs and updates, so we show the raw rate rather than guess at one.

For each version update, the custom message is flashing with the list of last articles. When I open T4 Ticker settings the custom message is not set. This topic was modified 2 months, 2 weeks ago by jrostinmagnin.

I have used this plugin for 5 years an suddenly after the 21 May Update. The banner has stopped scrolling and just flashes news items over the top of each other. Not useable! Sorry.

I’ve tried almost all the popular news ticker plugins, and T4B News Ticker is hands down the best. It’s simple, easy to use, lightweight, and works flawlessly. The interface is clean, and setup takes just a few minutes. Most importantly, it doesn’t slow down the site — which is a big win! What I love most is how effective it is without being overly complicated. Plus, the support is responsive, which is rare for free plugins. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a hassle-free, professional news ticker on WordPress. This topic was modified 1 year, 1 month ago by alamgiramirbd.

The plugin is easy to use and works very well. For the “scroll mode”, I suggest you to make it “circular”, i.e. after the last ticker displayed, immediately restarts the queue without waiting for the first one to have completely disappeared.

I’ve tried a few news tickers and I’ve found T4B News Ticker the easiest to setup and to regularly update the message. Setup on one page makes it easier too.
