WP Testimonials

How well this listing is tuned to rank in WordPress.org search, on the factors an owner controls. Not popularity, optimization.

Directory searches this plugin turns up in, and which way each one is moving. WordPress.org publishes no history of search positions, so this starts the day we first tracked a keyword and never backfills.

Not enough tracked days yet to call a direction. Momentum needs at least three keywords measured a week or more apart.

wp.org is where the directory puts the plugin for that search. On merit is where it would sit if results were ranked on rating, support and updates, without the install boost. The last column is how far the wp.org position moved, from our first reading in the last 90 days to the latest.

16 searches this plugin appeared in over the last 90 days, 4 listed. 12 left out as unrelated or noise (years, numbers, stray words). 3 of its tags aren't in the top 24 for their own search.

Directory rank vs rivals

wp.org popularity rank over time · higher is better · when a rival's line climbs above yours, they've overtaken you

How often this plugin actually ships. A steady rhythm is the maintenance signal a single "last updated" date can't show.

Share of active installs on each version of this plugin · 100% run the current release. Green is the current release; a big slice on older versions is a user base that has stopped updating.

Crossed into this band 13 months ago; a band this size takes about a year or more to cross, which places it about 90% of the way through.

Not sure why this one is getting negative reviews. Super simple to use and for someone with basic needs, this works so perfectly. Thank you! In my case I could not get the setting to hide the stars to work… whether I had them hidden in the widget settings or not they always showed. I have a workaround that works for my site by adding custom CSS span.ti-stars {height: 1px;visibility: hidden;} — but besides that everything works great.

I initially had some trouble with the free widget, but the support team was willing to work with me to improve the bugs that I found in the features. Thank you for the assistance. This topic was modified 1 year, 2 months ago by stephenpnock. Reason: They fixed the bugs that I'd flagged

I have tried many free plugins available on WordPress, but I think this is the best free plugin I have found, it is easy to use and has a good template. I use it on many websites I build and manage. I think many bad reviews of this plugin are unwarranted. Thanks

The plugin has a lot of potential, but it seems to be riddled with bugs and issues. If you look at the support channel you will see many complaining of the same issues for several months now. Settings like remove image, or remove stars from rating don’t work and have not worked for months. Support replied to the messages but it seems nothing has been fixed for quite some time.I’m trying to setup a testimonial grid on a website and its showing the first row of testimonials and they run completely off the right side of the page instead of jumping down to the next line. It is not usable at this point unless you maybe want to show just a couple testimonials. I will gladly edit this review if they get things fixed, but after seeing the other messages in the support section I don’t have much faith at this point for a quick bug fix.I pretty much wasted a couple hours of my day trying to get this working with really no luck. And now I have to source a different one for my clients website after entering in a bunch of testimonials.

You can remove stars or portraits during customisation, but they’ll still show up on the actual website
