Biggest opportunity: Swap “youtube gallery”, “youtube slider” and “youtube to gallery” for “playlist”, “playlists” and “sticky video”. “youtube gallery” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “playlist” sits at #5 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. “youtube slider” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “playlists” sits at #10 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. “youtube to gallery” isn't earning its slot: it only gets you to #20. “sticky video” sits at #11 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. All five slots are taken, so one has to go.

How it's measured →4.3%
of downloads still active
At least 1K of 23K lifetime downloads are still running, above its category: the median Media plugin keeps 0.8%, across 2,318 plugins.
Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other Media plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.
This plugin shipped 1 release in the last 12 months, and every existing install that updated counted as another download. wp.org publishes no split between first installs and updates, so we show the raw rate rather than guess at one.

What to do about it
- Swap “youtube gallery”, “youtube slider” and “youtube to gallery” for “playlist”, “playlists” and “sticky video”.
- One page off on “video gallery”. #16 puts you just past the first ten results, where almost all the clicks stop. The gap to close is small.

Update activity
How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

I recently had a client purchase the Pro version of this plugin so we could replace over a dozen YouTube players on their site. The wanted something similar to what they currently had with a scrollable playlist attached to the right of the video player. At first, things looked great and worked fine. But then realises that when you have more than ONE of the scroll style player on the same page the first one works fine but the others show the entire playlist in one giant list causing the player container to grow in size vertically to accommodate instead of scrolling. I tried to use their support site but it does not work and they were unresponsive via email and chat. I then switched to the slider version of the player which does seem to work fine. I am however having issues with the fullscreen not working even though it is turned on in the player options. I again tried to contact their support and have received no response at all. SInce my previous review got flagged, I just want to make clear that this IS my review. I am not looking for support on here, just noting that they seem to no longer provide support so beware when purchasing this product.

FancyTube is an exceptional tool that has exceeded my expectations in many ways. The standout feature for me has been the level of customer support I received. The team behind FancyTube provided me with top-notch, personalized assistance, going above and beyond to ensure my webpage looked exactly as I envisioned. They even supplied custom CSS to tailor the appearance to my specific needs. This level of dedication and expertise in customer service is a rarity and greatly appreciated.
