ALD – Dropshipping and Fulfillment for AliExpress and WooCommerce

How well this listing is tuned to rank in WordPress.org search, on the factors an owner controls. Not popularity, optimization.

Directory searches this plugin turns up in, and which way each one is moving. WordPress.org publishes no history of search positions, so this starts the day we first tracked a keyword and never backfills.

wp.org is where the directory puts the plugin for that search. On merit is where it would sit if results were ranked on rating, support and updates, without the install boost. The last column is how far the wp.org position moved, from our first reading in the last 90 days to the latest.

85 searches this plugin appeared in over the last 90 days, 19 listed. 66 left out as unrelated or noise (years, numbers, stray words).

Directory rank vs rivals

wp.org popularity rank over time · higher is better · when a rival's line climbs above yours, they've overtaken you

Share of active installs on each version of this plugin · 43% run the current release. Green is the current release; a big slice on older versions is a user base that has stopped updating.

Crossed into this band 12 days ago and a band this size takes about a year or more to cross, so the real count is still just under 9K.

The idea isn’t bad, but it needs a lot of work. In my installation, it doesn’t load the product specifications correctly, so they can’t be purchased. Furthermore, it doesn’t make the purchase directly on AliExpress but instead adds it to the WooCommerce cart, which is useless.

Youre not able to import any products without installing the scammy Chrome extension, which supposedly steals your affiliate links (Honey scam flashbacks). Used to be able to at least import products, now they force you to install their scam extension. Without it, the app is useless. With it, you lose all your affiliate commisions to Indian scammers. Dont use this app.

I recently wrote to the premium version support team about the bad practice VillaTheme started using. They added their affiliate link to the Chrome extension, stealing commissions from those of us who use this plugin, both in the free and pro versions. This is the response they give to all the users who complain about it. They say they don’t charge anything for the Chrome extension, and of course, they already take our customers’ affiliate money. I find it shameful that a company like VillaTheme has to engage in these practices. I always buy plugins from that brand, but they just lost a customer, and I hope they lose many more due to their bad practice. So, I advise you to remove this plugin from your website and the WooCommerce AliExpress Dropshipping Extension as soon as possible, or your affiliate profits will be stolen. Respuesta del autor Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. We’re truly sorry to hear about your disappointment, and we completely understand your frustration. Using the affiliate link in the Chrome extension does not incur any additional costs or fees; it costs you nothing. The extension is completely free, and this affiliate setup is simply a way for you to support the ongoing development and maintenance of the tool. That said, using the Chrome extension is optional. You can continue to process orders manually or use API-based sync (available to paying users) without using the extension. We understand this change may not suit everyone, but we’ve tried to be transparent by showing a clear notice and asking for consent before proceeding. If you feel strongly about it, we respect your decision and you’re always welcome to reach out to CodeCanyon for clarification as well. This topic was modified 1 year, 3 months ago by sergi69.

It doesn’t pull products and product variation images from Ali express, really annoying bug, I need to fill my images manually by downloading photos from Aliexpress portal and then upload files to WP media library..

My dedicated server is overloaded due to the ALD plugin. I run a dropshipping business selling accessories for cake bakers. My store is set up to handle a significant volume of traffic, which is why I opted for a dedicated server. However, when the ALD plugin is activated, my website becomes very slow, and I notice high resource usage in my server’s cPanel report. I suspect that the plugin may have a memory leak.

The plugin works intermittently. I can’t rely on this tool because I have to wait weeks while they fix new bugs. Additionally, updates for the plugin have become increasingly rare. It seems that this tool is no longer a priority for the author.
