   We were an early adopter of this plugin. Free for the first year at that time, it worked great for us. When it came time to “pay” we were ready to go. But when we went to the website, they offered free for a limited number of chat sessions. They changed the original offer. We had 4 websites using the software. All worked fine, and we never did go over the limit. We even wanted to do a payed program with them, but they did not offer a monthly option. That did come up at a later time but we still did not have much traffic. Would have given them 4-5 stars, for reasonable service and up time. Only once in many years the software “hung” our website, we just disabled the plugin till it cleared. However, here is the issue. At the end of January 2014 while running 4 websites with Banckle unknown to us the chat Icon was redirecting our customers to the Banckle website without our knowledge. When contacting them, they indicated that this was because we were on a unpaid program and you are only allowed one website. Fine, but we were never warned. Instead of disabling the chat window link they made our users, our customers go to the banckle homepage without our permission or knowledge. That is unacceptable, unethical and inappropriate business practice. We continue to have conversations with them to find out how this happened, how to keep it from happening again and a more reasonable solution.
