Most reviewers say it strips backend clutter and speeds up WooCommerce admin, though a few report no speed gain at all, one hit order-details conflicts, and another was annoyed that so many options sit behind the pro tier.

The idea is very good because the WP backend of whenever proyect is based on WC is very slow. But after installing that pluging, I don’t see neither change in the performance of the WP Backend. It still load on more than 4 s.

This is one of those must have plugins, it also is very good to update on new bloat/spam to remove in the backend. I love these kinds of plugins as they remove all the visual clutter from the backend. But this one has a heap of things for WooCommerce, widgets, CSS, even core things you can disable. Used it on a bunch of sites for years and it rarely has issues.

yes, everything else is full of bloat too, Meta, Shopify, Google. ALL BLOAT. So I’m giving this plugin 5 stars despite it not working out for me. It’s got the right idea, but somehow it messes with our WooCommerce Order details and I can’t be bothered. It’s also my Theme messing things up too. This ecosystem is messy.

I installed the pro version on one of my client’s websites, but it made the admin panel much slower especially on the orders page. In my experience, this plugin needs much more testing and features to become worthy of keeping it active. Right now there are plenty of alternatives out there with much more capabilities and a better UI. This topic was modified 2 years, 9 months ago by Mehrsha (Mehrdad Mohammadi).

After installing ‘Disable Bloat for WordPress & WooCommerce’ (Free Ed.) my site with WooComm. runs faster. Memory leaks are gone, cpu spikes are gone and my Admin interface is responsive again. I’m amazed by the performance of the free edition. Yes, there are more options in the paid versions, but for now my small business website is running with fast response. Can it get better? yes, but I also have to keep costs down. This plugin will from now on be on my ‘required plugins’ list 🙂

So much easier than manually maintaining a list of filters to remove! Likely will have more options than you need to get WC running lean, but each option is just that — an option. Appreciate having this plugin available.
