I almost didn’t try Ezoic because of the feedback here, but I’m glad I took the leap. To address the common complaint: the plugin doesn’t “break” your site; usually, it just reveals existing underlying issues in a theme’s HTML. The Reality: Performance: My site is running perfectly. The software is a serious, feature-rich mechanism designed to truly help publishers. The UI: I’ll admit the WP dashboard and Chrome extension have a learning curve and could use better UX design, but the underlying tech is solid. Support: Understand that support is tiered by traffic. If you have under 250k monthly visits, use the Ezoic Community. They are incredibly helpful – they personally saved me from a massive Ad Manager headache. Pro Tip: Don’t wing it. Consult the manuals or use an LLM (like Gemini or Claude) to help walk you through the technical steps. It’s worth the effort. This topic was modified 3 months, 4 weeks ago by neoswf. I installed this plugin and was having difficulty in doing so. So I attempted to contact their “Support” “Community” via email and online only to get utterly dismissive replies or no reply. They simply do not care about their subscribers. Ezoic does not even reply to their own reviews. Currently out of 35 reviews 18 of them are only 1 star. Therein lies an important message for anyone who considers using this plugin.

Ezoic’s system lacks transparency in its review process, making it frustrating for website owners. The approval criteria are vague, and rejection messages provide no clear guidance for improvement. Instead of helping publishers refine their content, it forces them to guess what went wrong and wait months for another review. A more supportive and detailed feedback system is desperately needed.

According to Code Profiler, Ezoic plugin is the major cause of lag in wordpress dashboard, as well as the frontend. No matter how many times I test, it takes at least a second on shared hosting for Ezoic plugin to do whatever it is its doing in the backend. No matter which website I choose, Ezoic plugin is hogging resources and slowing my site down. I see no reason for this plugin to keep doing this, especially not in the backend. Please improve the performance of this plugin. Best,Alex This topic was modified 1 year, 5 months ago by alekmitch. This topic was modified 1 year, 5 months ago by alekmitch.

Ezoic wastes a bunch of your time trying to force you to do bizarre stuff like change your nameservers just to put up some ads. As soon as I installed the plugin, Ezoic blocked our account saying for “content.” Our site is a very professional and high-quality site. It has just been a terrible experience with the service from Ezoic’s support to Ezoic’s plugin.

I regret to share my disappointing experience with the Ezoic Plugin. Unfortunately, instead of enhancing my website’s performance and monetization, it had the opposite effect, causing significant issues that severely impacted user experience. First and foremost, the Ezoic Plugin drastically slowed down my website. Pages that used to load quickly now take an agonizingly long time to display content, leading to frustrating delays for my visitors. This sluggishness has undoubtedly contributed to a decrease in user engagement and potential conversions. To make matters worse, the plugin’s installation broke various elements of my site. I encountered numerous glitches and compatibility issues that resulted in distorted layouts, broken links, and overall degraded functionality. This not only compromised the visual appeal of my website but also negatively affected its usability and credibility. Despite trying different configurations and seeking support from Ezoic, the issues persisted. The promised benefits of increased revenue and improved ad placement were overshadowed by the continuous problems caused by this plugin. It has left me with a sense of frustration and a need to find an alternative solution to rectify the damage done. Considering the detrimental impact on site performance and the numerous technical glitches encountered, I cannot recommend the Ezoic Plugin to fellow website owners. It falls short of its intended purpose, and the drawbacks far outweigh any potential benefits. I strongly urge others to explore alternative options that prioritize site speed and stability, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable user experience for visitors.
