Biggest opportunity: Swap “facebook feed”, “instagram feed” and “instagram gallery” for “ugc”, “facebook wall” and “mix”. “facebook feed” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “ugc” sits at #10 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. “instagram feed” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “facebook wall” sits at #14 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. “instagram gallery” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “mix” sits at #14 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. All five slots are taken, so one has to go.

How it's measured →1.0%
of downloads still active
At least 7K of 677.4K lifetime downloads are still running, above its category: the median Social plugin keeps 0.5%, across 1,276 plugins.
Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other Social plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.
This plugin shipped 5 releases in the last 12 months, and every existing install that updated counted as another download. wp.org publishes no split between first installs and updates, so we show the raw rate rather than guess at one.

What to do about it
- Swap “facebook feed”, “instagram feed” and “instagram gallery” for “ugc”, “facebook wall” and “mix”.
- One page off on “embed instagram”. #14 puts you just past the first ten results, where almost all the clicks stop. The gap to close is small.

I use this plugin for years. There was a time where facebook feeds weren’t working any more. I wrote to the team and they explained me that they are working from Ukraine, that’s what explains there difficulty to update the plugin at this time. In the meantime, they solved the issues and made the necessary update. May the force be with them.I juste added another Facebook feed today on a new auth to the Facebook API and everything was fluent and without issue, and also very simple to do.
