   After scouring the Internet for a nice modal pop-up plugin that would satisfy my rather complex needs of offering a clickable pop-up to display a flip-book somewhat-like Amazon’s Look-Inside function, I stumbled upon this plugin by a developer I have actually met at a Montreal WordPress meetup. The plugin by far surpassed the dozen or so other similar plugins I tried, which all seemed very convoluted, and after a very bit of struggling I got my functionality working with this plugin. The variety of options, good support, and the fact that it just works all point to a high rating. The only small reasons I could not give it 5 stars is that I feel it lacks a bit of polish around its configuration settings, and the fact that some things have to be done manually, like adding scripts for the click to open functionality. I must say I think Yannick is only a few tweaks away from getting a 5 stars out of me so hope he continues to push what this plugin can do as it seems to be fulfilling a good niche. Merci pour le bon travail!

   Straightforward, not too many options though, but I like it well enough. A bit quirky — after closing-out the modal dialog, webpage jumps to bottom — but it works just fine otherwise. This is really a three-star effort, but deserves four because, relatively speaking, modal dialog/overlay window plugins are not that plentiful and this one simply works — and works simply — without fuss or hassle. 🙂
