Biggest opportunity: Swap “woocommerce” and “subscribe” for “email newsletter” and “email optin”. “woocommerce” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “email newsletter” sits at #4 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. “subscribe” isn't earning its slot: it only gets you to #23. “email optin” sits at #4 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. All five slots are taken, so one has to go.

Install conversion
How it's measured →1.4%
of downloads still active
At least 10K of 727K lifetime downloads are still running, above its category: the median Email & Marketing plugin keeps 0.9%, across 1,295 plugins.
Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other Email & Marketing plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.
This plugin shipped 36 releases in the last 12 months, and every existing install that updated counted as another download. wp.org publishes no split between first installs and updates, so we show the raw rate rather than guess at one.

What to do about it
- Swap “woocommerce” and “subscribe” for “email newsletter” and “email optin”.

Update activity
How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

It looks ok, but it isn’t ready for prime time yet, IMO.The layout on the plugin’s dashboard is broken (tutorial section has no line breaks), the email signup works, but the user doesn’t get a response if it was successful or not (unless you create a redirection to a confirmation page). Over all it leaves the impression of a beta version. But still, it’s a functional and free plugin. So that’s something to appreciate.

I hate and loathe poorly designed plugins. It has not been tested, and having to hack a plugin to get it to work as expected, though now normal practice nowadays, results in 1 star. Don’t publish pieces of crap.
