Biggest opportunity: Swap “email marketing”, “signup forms” and “newsletter wordpress plugin” for “acquisition”, “subscription form” and “form capture”. “email marketing” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “acquisition” sits at #4 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. “signup forms” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “subscription form” sits at #4 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. “newsletter wordpress plugin” isn't earning its slot: it only gets you to #13. “form capture” sits at #7 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. All five slots are taken, so one has to go.

How it's measured →0.7%
of downloads still active
At least 1K of 146.8K lifetime downloads are still running, in line with its category: the median Email & Marketing plugin keeps 0.9%, across 1,294 plugins.
Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other Email & Marketing plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.
This plugin shipped 4 releases in the last 12 months, and every existing install that updated counted as another download. wp.org publishes no split between first installs and updates, so we show the raw rate rather than guess at one.

What to do about it
- Swap “email marketing”, “signup forms” and “newsletter wordpress plugin” for “acquisition”, “subscription form” and “form capture”.
- One page off on “newsletter wordpress plugin”. #13 puts you just past the first ten results, where almost all the clicks stop. The gap to close is small.

The “Pro” version of this extension came with two bugs. It is not serious at all and it did not give me confidence. So I asked for a refund for the extension. The author refuses for the moment. I find his attitude neither honest nor professional. I do not recommend him, go your way.

Great work on this plugin. Very easy to use. Even the “Free” version has good looking skins to work with. Thanks to all!

I was looking for a newsletter subscription list plugin. I have special requirements to such a plugin as I don’t want to use any ready to use newsletter services like MailChimp (although you can use this plugin to use MailChimp for your newsletter subscriptions!!!) My requirements had been as follows: Nice subscription form List of subscribers stored at my web server DB Export option of subscribers (download) Easy to use subscribe and unsubscribe links in newsletter emails I write my newsletter on my computer not online (although online newsletters can be done with this plugin – but would be nice if there would be an option to save these for later reference and maybe to be displayed at the front end sometime or to be able to read the newsletter in a browser with pagination to older/newer versions) Fully customizable at all ends Fully localized and being able to be translated Import of existing subscribers (upload of CSV list) 97,5% of my requirements are covered at the paid version of this awesome plugin. Some requirements were not there when I bought the plugin and I was in contact with Weblizar and the developer. I received a mind blowing support and many issues had been fixed and new features had been added in just a few days. This is premium service and high quality support! This review is not paid! I is my own opinion. I’m so glad I tried this plugin and the price for the paid version is more than affordable and compared to what you get the price is beating out all other tools I have found. Many thanks Weblizar! I only can recommend this plugin to all who want to have full control over their newsletter subscribers and do not trust any third party services. But again you can use this plugin also to interoperate with your third party newsletter vendor.

Plugin works very nicely, but it would be great if you could change the background color to match the sites theme. Also, is there a way to edit the templet ?? I want to change the wording but didn’t see any options for that.
