Update activity
How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.
Release cadence

What its installed base runs
via wordpress.orgShare of active installs on each version of this plugin. Green is the current release; a big slice on older versions is a user base that has stopped updating.
Estimated active installs
The public count shows “10K+”. Our estimate pins where the real number sits.

Estimated value
What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.
Est. annual revenue
Est. acquisition value
The recent download trend is too spiky to read. The range spans more than 10x because wp.org publishes install counts as broad bands, and conversion and price compound on top. Read the midpoint as an order of magnitude, not a valuation.
How we estimate this
Assumptions
- Free → paid conversion. 0.5%–2% of active installs pay for the pro tier. Typical for freemium WordPress plugins; the real rate varies a lot by product.
- Annual price per customer. $79–$149 a year, typical for SEO plugins rather than this plugin's own pricing.
- Acquisition multiple. 2x–4x annual revenue, the going range for small WordPress-plugin businesses, the typical range for a steady plugin.
- Install base. 10K–20K active installs, from our install estimate (wp.org only publishes the floor).

Revenue is installs × conversion × price; value is revenue × a typical acquisition multiple. Every factor is an assumption band, so the output is a wide range on purpose. If you're buying or selling, treat this as a starting point for due diligence.

I believe the plugin has potential, but the business plan misses the mark. As a user, I prioritize basic features like rating, which is crucial for a recipe plugin. Additionally, the ability to import recipes from an old plugin is a must for users seeking alternatives due to abandonment issues with their previous plugin (in my case, Cooked Pro). Without these fundamental features, it’s hard for users to even consider trying the plugin. My suggestion is to focus on providing a solid foundation with essential functionalities. If users are satisfied with the basic features and witness positive growth on their websites, they would be more inclined to explore the Pro version, which offers advanced features like reading mode, timer, recipe submissions, etc.

Importing recipes are from just one plugin and it’s in pro version!!! Importing recipes from other plugins is a feature to attract users it should not be a pro feature! This is a great plugin! It works perfectly, looks great, and it’s actually very easy to use. I have found no issues and when I have run into a problem (due to my general lack of experience), my questions are kindly and quickly answered in a way that I can understand.

I’ve used the free version of Recipe Card Blocks for about two years and ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. Simple, easy to use, and just the right amount of flexibility and options without being overwhelming. I love that you enter your ingredients, steps, etc directly into a live preview block making the process more intuitive and allowing for a better work flow. Recently, I upgraded to the Pro version as I was ready for some additional features. When deciding between this and another popular plugin, I ultimately decided on Recipe Card Blocks. Though the other plugin had one feature I really wanted, I was familiar with WPZoom’s customer service (I also use their Cookely theme) and decided this was the better choice because the customer service has always been amazing! No hassles, no back and forth with useless people who don’t understand. They reply quickly and solve your problem! And when you’re working in this “bubble” of food blogging, quick and helpful customer service makes a huge difference!!
