Biggest opportunity: Swap “email” and “smtp” for “amazon ses” and “ses”. “email” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “amazon ses” sits at #4 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. “smtp” isn't earning its slot: it only gets you to #11. “ses” sits at #5 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. All five slots are taken, so one has to go.

How it's measured →11%
of downloads still active
At least 200K of 1.8M lifetime downloads are still running, above its category: the median Email & Marketing plugin keeps 0.9%, across 1,294 plugins.
Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other Email & Marketing plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.
This plugin shipped 13 releases in the last 12 months, and every existing install that updated counted as another download. wp.org publishes no split between first installs and updates, so we show the raw rate rather than guess at one.

181 searches this plugin appeared in over the last 90 days, 20 listed. 135 left out as unrelated or noise (years, numbers, stray words). 1 of its tags isn't in the top 24 for their own search.
What to do about it
- Swap “email” and “smtp” for “amazon ses” and “ses”.
- One page off on “smtp”. #11 puts you just past the first ten results, where almost all the clicks stop. The gap to close is small.

Great plugin!!All that’s missing is Office 365 integration and an “export settings” 🙂

Used this plugin on several projects and I’m very happy with it. The only thing I don’t love is the new admin menu placement in v1.9, having it on the top level feels a bit cluttered. The old location was cleaner and easier to access.

Ich habe alle bekannten Plugins getestet und viele YouTube-Videos angeschaut – ohne Erfolg. Dies ist die schnellste Lösung, und ich habe sie mit Starto.de getestet. Wirklich super Arbeit!

Have tried others but you need to pay to see the logs – this is simple and quick and gives you a log for free – perfect and many thanks.

It’s a simple SMTP plugin, but can send email reliably. And most important thing is Email log, which is useful and free. But here is suggestion that can add a widget on admin dashboard, so can see overview clearly without setting>suremail. Thanks a lot !
