Biggest opportunity: Swap “gravity forms”, “hide next button” and “conversational forms” for “typeform”, “multi page” and “gforms”. “gravity forms” isn't earning its slot: it only gets you to #21. “typeform” sits at #7 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. “hide next button” isn't earning its slot: it only gets you to #16. “multi page” sits at #8 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. “conversational forms” isn't earning its slot: it only gets you to #12. “gforms” sits at #11 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. All five slots are taken, so one has to go.

How it's measured →3.2%
of downloads still active
At least 2K of 62.9K lifetime downloads are still running, above its category: the median Forms plugin keeps 1.3%, across 1,671 plugins.
Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other Forms plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.
This plugin shipped 1 release in the last 12 months, and every existing install that updated counted as another download. wp.org publishes no split between first installs and updates, so we show the raw rate rather than guess at one.

What to do about it
- Swap “gravity forms”, “hide next button” and “conversational forms” for “typeform”, “multi page” and “gforms”.
- Slipping on “gravity forms”. Down 6 places since 2026-09-18, now #21. Check what shipped around then, and what moved above you.
- One page off on “conversational forms”. #12 puts you just past the first ten results, where almost all the clicks stop. The gap to close is small.
- One page off on “hide next button”. #16 puts you just past the first ten results, where almost all the clicks stop. The gap to close is small.

It works, but it constantly is adding massive adverts as wp admin notices trying to convince you to upgrade despite dismissing or closing it. Downgrading to 1 star. The constant massive adverts that come back every few minutes even after dismissing them 50 times trying to get a sale to upgrade are extremely annoying. Does not make me want to buy it, makes me want to uninstall it. This topic was modified 6 days, 5 hours ago by joezappie.

We’ve been using Auto Advance on a client site for a number of years now, but something happened recently that disrupted the flow of a certain part of the site, David was very friendly, very helpful and managed to sort out our issue and updated the plugin code to fix the issue and resupplied all within a day of reporting/asking for assistance. This plugin is the only one we’ve found that successfully allows for the auto advancing of Gravity Forms fields, the Free version now does what is required for our clients site saving them a little money and every little helps since they are a charity organisation, highly recommend David and this product. Thank youScott

This is the worst plugin you could ever install. It has a constant and horrendous nag in the admin area. This has also been flagged as a serious security risk by our hosting. AVOID!!

This plugin works well for our use case. We did have a small problem at first but the support team quickly solved the issue. We later had other questions for support who really went the extra mile to help us try and solve a form issue. I highly recommend this plugin.
