How it's measured →0.4%
of downloads still active
At least 10 of 2.5K lifetime downloads are still running, below its category: the median AI plugin keeps 1.4%, across 1,015 plugins.
Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other AI plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.
This plugin shipped 8 releases in the last 12 months, and every existing install that updated counted as another download. wp.org publishes no split between first installs and updates, so we show the raw rate rather than guess at one.

I recently installed Helpmate on my WooCommerce store, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From day one, the setup was smooth and intuitive — even though I’m not a developer, I had the chatbot up and running in no time. At first, I noticed the chatbot struggled with a few specific queries while checking the chat history. But after training it with proper data, the responses became impressively accurate and natural. It genuinely feels like having a smart assistant that understands my customers. If you run a WooCommerce store and deal with lots of repetitive questions, I highly recommend giving Helpmate a try. It’s effective, customizable, and adds real value to your business.
