Try it live opens a temporary test site in your browser, which can take about 20 seconds to load. Plugins that rely on outside services or a full server may not work completely there.
Install count doesn't reflect chosen adoption
10K+ installs but only 2 reviews: about 2.0 per 10,000 installs, where plugins people pick from the directory typically sit above 10. The install count also held flat for months and then climbed several tiers within weeks, the shape of a distribution change rather than organic adoption. Install bases built through bundling or preinstallation look like this. That is a legitimate way to ship software, but it means the install count says little about how many users chose this plugin.
Not a judgment of the plugin itself. We keep it off install-based leaderboards because the count isn't a popularity signal here.

Biggest opportunity: Swap “whatsapp”, “chat button” and “ai chatbot” for “phone call”, “telegram” and “phone”. “whatsapp” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “phone call” sits at #5 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. “chat button” isn't earning its slot: it only gets you to #21. “telegram” sits at #11 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. “ai chatbot” isn't earning its slot: it only gets you to #15. “phone” sits at #12 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. All five slots are taken, so one has to go.

How it's measured →12%
of downloads still active
At least 10K of 81.2K lifetime downloads are still running, above its category: the median AI plugin keeps 1.4%, across 1,009 plugins.
Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other AI plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.
This plugin shipped 10 releases in the last 12 months, and every existing install that updated counted as another download. wp.org publishes no split between first installs and updates, so we show the raw rate rather than guess at one.

What to do about it
- Swap “whatsapp”, “chat button” and “ai chatbot” for “phone call”, “telegram” and “phone”.
- One page off on “ai chatbot”. #15 puts you just past the first ten results, where almost all the clicks stop. The gap to close is small.
- One page off on “contact widget”. #13 puts you just past the first ten results, where almost all the clicks stop. The gap to close is small.

I like having control over my plugins, so I set this one up myself. I wanted a solution that worked across multiple websites. A few minutes, contact bubble live with WhatsApp, email, and phone. The buttons are clean and exactly where visitors expect them. The chatbot surprised me: I’d avoided AI because I worried about it saying something wrong to a customer, but I tested it after it trained on my website and it kept giving me good answers. Using it now. Satisfied with the plugin quality and simplicity.

We handle all our own bookings, so when we finally got the website up we really needed the contact button to just… be obvious. And obvious it is. I’m a musician and I thought it will be much more complicated, but it just worked. Happy I managed, happy it works!
