Biggest opportunity: Swap “chat”, “streaming” and “widget” for “chat software”, “chatting” and “free live chat”. “chat” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “chat software” sits at #10 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. “streaming” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “chatting” sits at #24 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. “widget” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “free live chat” sits at #24 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. All five slots are taken, so one has to go.

How it's measured →0.2%
of downloads still active
At least 200 of 84.3K lifetime downloads are still running, below its category: the median Chat & Support plugin keeps 0.8%, across 628 plugins.
Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other Chat & Support plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.
This plugin shipped 1 release in the last 12 months, and every existing install that updated counted as another download. wp.org publishes no split between first installs and updates, so we show the raw rate rather than guess at one.

Chat works great! Easy to install and I like that it’s a persistent chat on my site. Good range of customization options too.

This plugin is still working just fine even though it might never be updated, and here is the info needed for dealing with the recent WordPress 4.3 update… “Notice: The called constructor method for WP_Widget is deprecated since version 4.3.0! “Use __construct() instead.” https://wordpress.org/support/topic/constructor-method-for-wp_widget-is-deprecated-2?replies=3#post-7318389

A very nice looking chat plugin. Only con is the expensive upgrade, to have more people use it at the same time. Would be good if they could add a new plan for 50 users with half the price. Would suit my needs more.
