Update activity
How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.
Release cadence
Actively maintainedHow often this plugin actually ships. A steady rhythm is the maintenance signal a single "last updated" date can't show.

What its installed base runs
via wordpress.orgShare of active installs on each version of this plugin. Green is the current release; a big slice on older versions is a user base that has stopped updating.
Estimated active installs
The public count shows “100K+”. Our estimate pins where the real number sits.

Estimated value
What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.
Est. annual revenue
Est. acquisition value
No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. The recent download trend is too spiky to read.

I’ve been on a mission to replace the bloated analytics plugin I was paying way too much for. I’m so glad I found Independent Analytics. It has all of the features that I need and more. Easy to install. Easy to use. Has absolutely everything I need.

I cannot speak to things Independent Analytics does, because geekspeak coming out of my mouth (or fingers typing) is literally gibberish. So, I won’t try. When I have issues (if I do which is seldom) I message Ben and get a timely response. This is of paramount importance in my book. I’m old school in my expectations, and I choose what I use for this reason. Also, I dislike the monopoly that is exerted over analytics and I’ve watched the internet grow since it was a gleam in developer eyes. Independent Analytics gives me a viable, workable option.

Straightforward to use, no need to worry about privacy issues, I like that there’s a white label option by default, that’s fab and a time-saver i(ts also easy to add some CSS to customise the view further, unlike with Burst Statistics for instance). Time will tell but as long as performance isn’t impacted too much, its stable and reliable, and visits/data are captured fairly accurately then this will be my go-to analytics plugin for my 20 or so websites. Thanks!

Finally a company who gets that we just want to see analytics simple and easy for everyone. Plus without all the weirdness around unnecessary data tracking. Thank you Independent Analytics for doing the right thing with analytics!

I’ve tried many visitor analytics plugins, some free, some paid, but they either didn’t count the visits correctly, or slowed my website way down. I’ve been using the pro version of IA for only about a month and there is much more to learn but so far, it’s very good. It has quite an accurate accounting of visitors and does not slow my website at all. It’s not one that you activate then don’t do more, it’s one that has many features to learn about and use.

I recently recommended this plug-in to a client as an alternative to my company setting them up with the full Google Analytics – which honestly, Google analytics is always so overwhelming for clients they never use it. Your Independent Analytics plug-in is exactly what they needed and they even purchased the Pro version right away to be able to receive weekly reports for their board members. It’s super easy to setup, but just a heads-up to developers, if you want the reports to be emailed to your client you must use a “From” email that contains your clients matching domain name, meaning you can’t use your clients gmail email as the “From” address for the reports. Independent Analytics also recommends a 3rd party plug-in if you’re having email delivery problems from a hosting company – use: (WP Mail SMTP).
