No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from.

When you see how much you pay for using the Zendesk platform, that’s a disgrace that they are unable to upgrade their app for months

Zendesk is demanding that all users update their sites by May 1st, but they’ve refused to update their own plugin, so the 3,000+ active installations are about to stop working with no word from Zendesk otherwise.

This plugin has broken WordFence. This is totally unacceptable since I heavily rely on WordFence more than I do ZenDesk plugin. PLEASE UPDATE THIS PLUGIN so we can use it once again. If you don’t keep your stuff up to date I’ll (and others) will be looking for a helpdesk replacement.

This plugin works well when it works, and has been very valuable for us. Regrettably, the plugin is no longer compatible with the latest versions of WordPress and WooCommerce (5.5 and 4.3.3 respectively at the time of writing) and when enabled, causes severe issues with site performance and functionality. For example, it is not possible to edit WooCommerce products, to select multiple orders or to view the WooCommerce dashboard with the plugin enabled, among other issues. We contacted ZenDesk support last week about this issue, hoping for an update to the plugin, but have so far heard nothing back. As such, we have now left the plugin deactivated and are waiting for an update at some point, and now looking at ending our ZenDesk Chat subscriptions.

I use the paid version and over all I am happy. It is the best support system for wordpress that I’ve used. Plus I don’t have to worry about any support issues getting lost like with a email contact form. But as already mentioned in the previous review, it could be so much better. Yes, it would be SO nice to have some control over the widget form, there is little to no customization available. For example, I would like to add a small blurb on the form that asks people to check my FAQ page (with a link), before submitting. Many of the support questions I get could be answered with my FAQ page. They could get an answer to their question right away, without needing to wait on me to respond. And it would save me some support time. I agree, for such a big company that has been around for so long, you’d think they could do it better. They are always adding features that I really don’t need, but the simple little things, but important things, like customizing the widget/form don’t seem to be as important. Give us access to customize the form and I would give it 5 stars.

I’m currently evaluating Zendesk for a client, who don’t have a WordPress site but wanted to see how well it would integrate with my own site. It wouldn’t work because it said I wasn’t logged in to Zendesk and after deleting and reinstalling the Plugin, it still doesn’t. Their 1st line support escalated it to someone who appears to be on the other side of the world. So, I’ve given up. Shame ‘coz I really like Zendesk but they just don’t seem to have thought about this and it worries me that their support is so poor.
