Biggest opportunity: “chat”, “chat bot free” and “chat plugin” aren't earning a slot. You list them, but you're not in the first 24 results for those searches. WordPress.org counts only your first five tags, so free the slot for a search you can win.

Install conversion
How it's measured →0.1%
of downloads still active
At least 10 of 7.4K lifetime downloads are still running, below its category: the median Chat & Support plugin keeps 0.8%, across 629 plugins.
Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other Chat & Support plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.
Removal-risk signals
53/100Maintenance and integrity signals that tend to precede a WordPress.org removal. Not an official status, a heads-up to act.
- Long abandoned. No update in 4+ years — the top precursor to removal once a vulnerability is found.
- Falling behind WordPress. Tested up to WordPress 6.0.18.

How it's tracked →Directory searches this plugin turns up in, and which way each one is moving. WordPress.org publishes no history of search positions, so this starts the day we first tracked a keyword and never backfills.
Not enough tracked days yet to call a direction. Momentum needs at least three keywords measured a week or more apart.
wp.org is where the directory puts the plugin for that search. On merit is where it would sit if results were ranked on rating, support and updates, without the install boost. The last column is how far the wp.org position moved, from our first reading in the last 90 days to the latest.

Not enough installs to measure. This needs at least 100 active sites; below that, a handful of downloads reads as tens of thousands.

The public count shows “10+”. Our estimate pins where the real number sits.
Crossed into this band 12 days ago and a band this size takes about a year or more to cross, so the real count is still just under 20.

Installed it few days ago, it’s quite good so far, will stay on a free version for a bit and then we’ll see. Design is nice, also quite speedy. Oh, also I’d like to try that “Human chat bot” feature when it’ll become available

Looks good at the beginning, but installation process is not user friendly. After creating an account I was stuck with WP intergation, since the WP plugin doesn’t do anything other than linking you to their website. Pasting the code to the website header raised some flags. At that point, I took a deep breath of disapointment and uninstalled it.

There is nothing I dislike more than a company that is not transparent about its prices. There is nothing wrong with charging your customers, but you need to be honest about it. You clearly stated that your plugin is 100% free and that we can have unlimited operators. It’s a flat-out lie. The free version can have only 1 operator and there is no e-mail option. Only if I pay €300 a year can I have more than 1 operator and get the chat sent to the customers via e-mail.

I highly recommend installing this live chat! The free version is great but the paid version offers even more for the success of your online business. txt.me is easy to install on any website.
