Install count doesn't reflect chosen adoption

70K+ installs but only 7 reviews: about 1.0 per 10,000 installs, where plugins people pick from the directory typically sit above 10. The install count also held flat for months and then climbed several tiers within weeks, the shape of a distribution change rather than organic adoption. Install bases built through bundling or preinstallation look like this. That is a legitimate way to ship software, but it means the install count says little about how many users chose this plugin.

Not a judgment of the plugin itself. We keep it off install-based leaderboards because the count isn't a popularity signal here.

PopupKit is easily one of the best popup plugins I’ve used for WordPress. I love how simple it is to set up, and the high-quality templates make it easy to create professional-looking popups without spending a ton of time customizing everything from scratch. One of the biggest strengths is how flexible it is. I can use PopupKit with different forms, webhook connections, and automation setups, and it works perfectly with the Bit Form and Bit Flows plugins that I also use on my website. It has been fantastic for improving my newsletter conversion rate and supporting ongoing sales. I’ve also used PopupKit across different WordPress themes, and it has worked reliably every time. No security concerns, no bugs, no compatibility problems, and no frustrating issues that I’ve come across elsewhere with other pop-up plugins Ive tried (at least 7 others now). PopUpKit simply works, and their support has been highly-responsive, very friendly, and extremely helpful from the initial pre-sale questions I had, and including some support Q&A that I had for my more unique WP setup. I’ve tried many other popup plugins, including some expensive subscription-only options, and PopupKit stands out. I especially love the lifetime deal from WPMet, because it gives me long-term access to a high-quality plugin without having to worry about yet another monthly or yearly subscription. Highly recommended for WordPress websites of all sizes, from small sites to larger businesses. PopupKit is polished, powerful, reliable, and a great value. A+++

Great plugin for creating popups – easy to use and very flexible. You can build in Gutenberg or use one of many ready-made templates. Support is fast and helpful.

I’m using Gutenkit for my wordpress site. Popup plugin is the perfect match for it. I’ve been waiting for official release and I’m really pleased that I can finally use the official version for my site.

I have been testing the popup builder for a couple of weeks now and it seems like a solid plugin that solves the real need to extend what Gutenberg can do. Its pretty new so I will review again once I have had time to implement on a few other websites. Well done crew you have gone all out with this great plugin!

A great plugin that does what it’s supposed to do without adding to the loading time, and offers some very useful options.
